The Pune Chapter of IIT Kanpur Alumni Association is organizing a get together and meet of alumni of all IITs on Sunday, 11 Oct 2015.

The Guest of Honour for the event shall be distinguished scientist and science administrator, Dr Anil Kakodkar (INAE Satish Dhawan Chair of Engineering Eminence; ex-Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India and the Secretary to the Government of India; ex-Director of theBhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay; Padma Vibhushan awardee).

The theme of the event shall be technology, social innovation, entrepreneurship and venture financing. The event shall include a showcase of inventive entrepreneurs and social innovators organized by Venture Center (India's largest science business and inventive enterprises incubator which is located on NCL, Pune campus and is an initiative of IIT alumni). The event also includes a brief talk by CSIR Tech about is exciting nation-wide technology sourcing and match making effort as well as its upcoming India Science Venture Fund. The event shall also feature an overview of Private Equity investing by well known investment banker and advisor, Deepak Nanda. The event hopes to provide avenues for entrepreneurs, mentors and investors to meet and network.

The event shall include opportunities for casual networking besides food, drinks and entertainment.
